“Salumi&Consumi” Innovation Award
Sales Director Tanzi: “We wanted to create something new, capable of reflecting evolving consumer habits”
Apri&Gusta by Corte Parma-Amoretti has won the 2026 Alimentando Awards for Best Product Innovation in the “Snacks and Ready Meals” category, within the Salumi&Consumi section. Presented during Tuttofood Milan, the award recognises a product line that marks an important milestone in the company’s innovation journey. Apri&Gusta was in fact the first project developed by Marco Tanzi upon joining Corte Parma-Amoretti two years ago.
The project was born from the ambition not only to develop a new market proposition, but also to foster a more open and collaborative approach to innovation. To create a solution capable of responding to changing consumer habits, Tanzi involved employees from across the company through an internal process that included idea collection, evaluation forms and tasting sessions, all of which contributed to shaping both the concept and the Apri&Gusta brand name.
The range builds on Corte Parma-Amoretti’s expertise in producing aperitif and antipasto trays, transforming that know-how into a solution designed for everyday consumption: a ready-to-eat meal combining cured meats and selected ingredients, conceived as an alternative to traditional ready meals that require heating. The result is the Apri&Gusta Amoretti range, developed for consumers seeking simplicity, convenience and practicality during increasingly fast-paced lunch breaks. Also available with a vegetable side dish, the range stands out for its high service content, ease of use and versatility.
At the heart of the project lies a close observation of a rapidly evolving market.
“Demographics speak for themselves: in Italy there are more and more single-person households, less available time and a growing demand for practical solutions,” explains Tanzi. “Many products are marketed as ready meals, yet they still require heating in a microwave or oven. With Apri&Gusta, we wanted to offer something that is genuinely ready to eat: simply open and enjoy.”
To further reinforce this promise of convenience, every pack includes a fork and a napkin, allowing consumers to enjoy the product anywhere, from the office to leisure activities, without any additional preparation.
“This award has a special meaning for me because Apri&Gusta was the very first project I worked on after joining Corte Parma-Amoretti,” says Tanzi. “From the beginning, our goal was to create something new that could genuinely reflect changing consumer habits. Seeing that idea recognised today and continuing to perform well in the market makes us particularly proud.”
The award confirms the strength of an innovation journey that continues to evolve through range extensions and new partnerships, while remaining focused on delivering practical, immediate and accessible solutions for consumers with different needs and lifestyles.
