Allan wears Zebre Parma’s third jersey featuring the Corte Gusto brand

Egidio Amoretti unveiled the new Challenge Cup jersey in Parma. The Amoretti heart, alongside the URC jerseys, now features across the team’s technical kit

Tommaso Allan, Italy’s all-time leading international appearance and points scorer and one of the most recognisable figures in Italian rugby, was the first player to wear Zebre Parma’s new third jersey. The jersey was unveiled on stage in Piazza Garibaldi during “We Are Parma”, the event that brought together the Parma-based franchise and the local rugby community to mark the start of the 2026/27 season.

The new pink jersey, designed for the Challenge Cup, features the Corte Gusto brand for the first time. Corte Gusto is the brand through which Corte Parma-Amoretti brings its Italian gastronomic identity to the French market.

For Allan, who joined Zebre Parma after three seasons with USA Perpignan, the occasion marked a return to Italy following a significant period of his career in France. Perpignan was where he first began his professional rugby career, before returning to the Catalan club in 2023 and remaining there until the end of the 2025/26 season.

His return to Parma therefore coincided with an interesting connection between two journeys linked to France: that of a player who had just left Perpignan to join Zebre Parma, and that of a brand that has been bringing Italian gastronomic products and expertise to the French market for years.

Corte Gusto was created to bring the finest expressions of Italian food tradition to French consumers. Its product ranges are developed in Italy using carefully selected ingredients, while a dedicated commercial structure in France monitors evolving consumer trends and customer needs, supporting the development of dedicated and innovative products. The brand also has its own logistics organisation in France, with local storage and nationwide distribution.

It is against this backdrop that Corte Gusto’s debut on Zebre Parma’s third jersey takes on particular significance: the brand representing Corte Parma-Amoretti in the French market will accompany the team throughout its European campaign, appearing for the first time on the jersey dedicated to the Challenge Cup.

The choice was presented on stage in Piazza Garibaldi by Corte Parma-Amoretti CEO Egidio Amoretti, alongside Zebre Parma President Gianni Fava.

The new jersey structure also reflects the two distinct dimensions of the partnership. The Amoretti heart will continue to feature on Zebre Parma’s home and away jerseys for the United Rugby Championship, as well as across the team’s technical kit, while Corte Gusto will feature on the third jersey for the Challenge Cup.
