Made in Italy Day: Corte Parma-Amoretti exports nearly 80% higher
DOP and IGP at the heart of an ever-expanding range of ready-to-eat solutions
On the occasion of Made in Italy Day, Corte Parma-Amoretti announces the strengthening of its international positioning, with exports accounting for nearly 80% of total production across its three facilities. This figure confirms the company’s role as an ambassador of Italian know-how, bringing quality, supply chain expertise and food culture to international markets.
From the Parma Food Valley to key European markets, Corte Parma-Amoretti has developed an industrial model that enhances Made in Italy through ready-to-eat products that maintain a strong connection with their territory of origin and with certified excellence. PDO and PGI denominations are therefore structural elements of the offering, integrated into recipes and solutions designed to combine authenticity and convenience.
“Exports are now the key driver of our growth,” says Egidio Amoretti, CEO. “Every day we bring Made in Italy beyond national borders through products that enhance certified ingredients and controlled supply chains. Our strategic plan aims to further strengthen this international vocation, expanding our presence in global markets and reinforcing our brand positioning.”
“Product development is closely linked to international markets,” adds Marco Tanzi, Sales Director. “We build product ranges that make Italian tradition accessible in modern formats, enhancing PDO and PGI ingredients while ensuring high standards of quality and consistency. Our goal is to deliver solutions that perform across different contexts, while preserving the value of Made in Italy.”
The evolution of the product range follows this direction and results in a diversified portfolio, from ready-to-eat focaccias and sandwiches made with iconic Italian ingredients such as PGI cured meats and PDO cheeses, to piadinas and pinsas to be heated, designed to offer a complete experience in a short time. These are complemented by aperitivo lines combining selected cured meats and cheeses in ready-to-serve assortments, as well as the “Apri & Gusta” solutions, complete meals that reinterpret the traditional Italian platter in a contemporary way. The offering is further expanded by “Pocket Lunch” solutions and single-portion formats, designed to meet new consumption occasions while maintaining a strong focus on service and product recognisability.
